Tenant Water Billing
Until now, billing residents on actual use required a water main per unit - which most buildings don't have. DrizzleX measures at the fixture instead: actual gallons per unit, statement-ready, with or without your current billing method.

Why it wasn't possible before
The utility's meter measures the building, not the units - and without a water main per unit, traditional submeters can't be added. Owners split the bill by formula because measurement wasn't an option - and most tenants don't like it. DrizzleX removes the constraint. Fair bills do one more thing: they help keep residents. Renters ask how water is billed before they sign - and when the cost of leaks is spread across everyone's bills, tenants leave.
The utility measures the building, not the units.
Older buildings can't add per-unit meters.

DrizzleX measures where water is actually used.
Actual gallons, added up, statement-ready.
"We bill our residents in-house, straight from the DrizzleX gallons reports – our bookkeeper runs the whole process. We rolled it out lease by lease: as apartments turn over, each new lease goes on actual use – no need to convert the whole building at once. We recover roughly 90% of our city water and sewer bill; only the common areas stay with us. I liked the results enough to invest in the company."
